Bruschetta with spicy sardines


  • 1-2 cans of Papa Anzóis de Sardine with Malagueta (nº3)
  • traditional bread
  • cherry tomato
  • onion
  • basil
  • garlic
  • pepper
  • salt

Cut the bread into generous slices. Open the sardine can and put a bit of oil on the bread. Place the bread on a griddle or skillet to gain color. When it starts to turn browner, place the chopped garlic, onion and cherry tomatoes on top of the bread. Allow a few more minutes for the tomato to start releasing juices. Remove from heat, season with pepper and salt to taste. Place the sardines on the bread, drizzle with a little more oil and sprinkle with basil.

Enjoy it with a good wine or water flavored with seasonal fruits.
